hm. I have to say, I hate the name iPad. ...what good things does the word "pad" make you think of? Nothing. Dog pad, feminine hygiene pad, diaper changing pad...yuck. Also, seems to me like its features are kinda lacking. But that's probably because I read an article talking about what it doesn't have, instead of what it does have.
Man debbie downer Lauren. I mean first off if you compare it to the Kindle with a similar screen size that costs $489, its a steal. And seriously look at, there is nothing to it, and it does everything that most people need in a computer nowadays. Surf the net, check email, write documents, listen to music, watch movies. I know its not a super computer but look at the thing, its paper thin and has a multi-touch capacitive screen. And for $499 knowing what the competition is offering for way more or for the same price with way less features, I would say well done Apple.
